Generally, the process is similar: you find the festival you’re interested in, send your application, and then receive a response indicating whether there is space available or if your group meets the selection criteria. Some festivals charge a participation fee, while others don’t. The selection process duration also varies — in some cases it can take 3 to 4 months, while others may reply and confirm within just 7 days.

Registration is very simple:-

- Fill out the form with your group’s basic information (name, country, number of members, and main contact).
- Select the subscription plan that best suits your needs (3, 6, or 12 months).
- Make your secure payment directly on the platform (via credit card or PayPal).
Once the registration is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email with immediate access to the search tool, allowing you to explore festivals, filter by dates, countries, or group type, and apply directly.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your profile. Your access will remain active until the end of the paid period, and no automatic charges will be made afterward unless you renew voluntarily. - How can I get the e-book with more than 500 festivals?
To receive the e-book containing over 500 folk festivals, simply subscribe to our newsletter using the form provided. Once you confirm your subscription, we’ll automatically send you the download link directly to your email. - What if my group is already in Europe? Can we still participate?
Of course! Folk Fest Buscador also helps groups that are already in Europe to find festivals matching their available dates and needs. - What if we don’t have live music?
No problem! There are many festivals that accept groups without live music, and you can easily find them through our search tool. - What costs are covered by the festivals, and what does the group pay?
It depends on each festival. In some cases, groups pay a registration and accommodation fee, while in others participation may be free or have different costs. We organize the International Folklore Festival “Pod’me do tanca” in Bratislava (Slovakia), which is also connected to two other festivals in Budapest and Vienna, creating a unique cultural route for groups.

Visa requirements depend on your citizenship and the country where the festival takes place. Citizens of the European Union and Schengen Area do not need a visa to travel within these areas.
