Our Mission

Folk Fest Buscador (FFB) exists to connect folklore dance groups, festival organizers, and cultural institutions worldwide in a safe, transparent, and trustworthy environment.
Our goal is to support authentic cultural exchange and ensure that every group can travel, perform, and participate in festivals with confidence and security.

Building a successful cultural platform depends on trust, professionalism, and clear communication between Festival Organizers (Partners) and Folk Groups (Participants/Customers).


Core Principles

Respect and Cultural Professionalism

All users of FFB must treat each other with respect, dignity, and cultural sensitivity.

  • Disrespectful, rude, or aggressive communication is not allowed.
  • Cultural traditions, costumes, and identities must be treated with respect.
  • Any form of harassment, exploitation, or manipulation will not be tolerated.

FFB representatives also commit to professional and respectful communication with all users.

 

Trust and Anti-Scam Commitment

FFB is built on transparency and safety for folklore groups.

  • Misrepresentation of festivals, payments, accommodation, or conditions is strictly prohibited.
  • Fake festivals, fake invitations, or misleading offers are not allowed.
  • Any attempt to deceive groups or organizers may result in immediate removal from the platform.

We strongly encourage honest communication to protect groups from scams and unsafe arrangements.

 

Compliance with Law

All users must comply with:

  • Local laws in their country and the host country
  • Visa, travel, and performance regulations
  • Copyright and cultural usage rights (music, costumes, recordings where applicable)

FFB does not support any illegal activity, fraudulent documentation, or unsafe travel arrangements.

 

Safety

The safety of all participants is a top priority.

  • Organizers must provide accurate information about accommodation, transport, and performance conditions.
  • Groups must follow safety instructions given by organizers during travel and events.
  • Any unsafe behavior or conditions must be reported immediately.

 

Platform Rules

No Discrimination Policy

FFB supports equality and cultural inclusion.

Prohibited Behavior

The following behaviors are not allowed:

  • Abuse (verbal, physical, sexual, or emotional)
  • Fraud, scams, or misrepresentation of festivals or groups
  • Extortion or coercion between users
  • Fake applications or false identity information
  • Threatening behavior or intimidation
  • Sharing false reports or misleading claims intentionally
  • Sharing private or confidential information without consent

 

Prohibited Content

Users must not post or send:

  • Spam or repeated irrelevant content
  • False festival listings or misleading travel offers
  • Offensive, violent, or sexually explicit content
  • Copyright-infringing materials (videos, music, images without permission)
  • Personal data of others without permission
  • Content intended for harassment or trolling

 

Guidelines for Festival Organizers (Partners)

Festival Organizers listed on FFB are expected to maintain accuracy and professionalism.

General Expectations

Organizers should:

  • Provide accurate festival information (dates, location, requirements)
  • Clearly describe accommodation, transport, and performance conditions
  • Respect confirmed bookings and commitments
  • Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Keep festival details updated

Organizers Should NOT:

  • Mislead groups with false or incomplete information
  • Change essential conditions after confirmation without consent
  • Request payments outside agreed and documented channels
  • Encourage groups to bypass FFB communication or agreements
  • Use pressure tactics or threats regarding participation or reviews

 

Festival Listings

  • Each festival listing must be accurate and include:
  • Festival name, location, and dates
  • Participation conditions (age groups, number of participants, etc.)
  • Accommodation details and food arrangements
  • Transport information (if provided)
  • Performance requirements and cultural expectations
  • All changes must be updated in the listing promptly.

Photos and Media

  • Photos must represent real festivals and real conditions
  • No misleading or outdated promotional material
  • No hidden contact information or external advertising in images
  • Videos should reflect real performances and environments

Reviews

  • Reviews must be honest and based on real experiences
  • Fake reviews are strictly prohibited
  • Organizers must not pressure groups to leave positive reviews
  • Negative reviews must not be punished or used against groups

Organizers may respond professionally to reviews but may not intimidate reviewers.

 

Guidelines for Folk Groups (Participants/Customers)

General Expectations

Groups should:

  • Provide accurate information about group size and performance level
  • Respect festival schedules and instructions
  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Arrive prepared for travel and performances
  • Follow local laws and festival rules

Before the Festival

Groups should:

  • Review festival details carefully
  • Confirm all travel and accommodation arrangements
  • Communicate any special needs in advance
  • Prepare appropriate costumes, music, and materials

During the Festival

Groups should:

  • Follow the organizer’s instructions
  • Respect other participating groups and cultures
  • Avoid unsafe or disruptive behavior
  • Report issues immediately if they arise

After the Festival

Groups should:

  • Provide honest feedback and reviews
  • Respect payment terms where applicable
  • Share experiences in a constructive manner

Prohibited Behavior for Groups

  • False identity or misleading group information
  • Refusing agreed participation conditions without reason
  • Abusive behavior toward organizers or other groups
  • Attempting to bypass FFB agreements for direct arrangements
  • Using threats or pressure tactics regarding reviews or payments

 

Communication Guidelines

All communication should be:

  • Respectful and professional
  • Clear and relevant to festival participation
  • Conducted through FFB channels when applicable

FFB may monitor communications to ensure safety, prevent fraud, and maintain trust within the platform.

 

Enforcement and Consequences

Violations of these rules may result in:

  • Warning or educational notice
  • Temporary restriction from the platform
  • Removal of listings or festival visibility
  • Suspension or permanent account deactivation
  • Loss of access to FFB services

Serious violations (fraud, scams, abuse, or safety risks) may lead to immediate removal.
